Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director who is best known as the star of Birdman. An actor with a variety of talents, he's proficient in comedy as well as dramatic roles. In addition to playing romantic roles, he also played in action films as well as thrillers. As a teenager the actor developed an appreciation in acting and performing. He then tried stand-up comedy when he was a teenager. Although his comedy career did not succeed however, it served as the basis to his acting career. Not able to achieve success as a comic, he took up a job as cameraman on television at a cable station. While working at the station, it was that he realized that it was his dream to be on camera. He was offered a TV show and he was a regular on various episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His natural talent as an actor earned him a lot of attention on television. He began the film industry with high hopes and achieved a great deal of recognition for his comedic performances. For Tim Burton's Batman in the film, he portrayed the role of Batman's superhero as the title. He grew as an actor as time went on and delved into direction and production realms. In 2014, his performance as Birdman was rewarded with numerous accolades and nods.
