Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her professional career in the show business from a young age. When she reached the age of 16years old, Alexandra was able to land prominent roles in a variety of television dramas. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also critically acclaimed. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra was associated with numerous notable projects, both nationally and internationally. Some of these include the British biographical movie Control, the Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon. Additionally, she was a member of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
